This month's MUFON meeting was about the Mayan calendar. When a child was born in the Mayan civilization, the date of their birth assigned them a particular aspect (divine gift of some sort) and intentions (what they were supposed to accomplish in this life).

The Mayan calendar ends December 21, 2012, and the reason is open to speculation. One predominant theory is that we are coming into a Cycle where we will become more balanced and time as we know it will cease to exist because we will know time and space are illusions and no longer necessary.

The calendar is really 3 calendars and very complicated. It is supposed to be more accurate than our Gregorian calendar. I highly recommend to all to research this or read a book on it. Maybe we can choose one for the PK Book Club next.
