Some people are too easily scared. I guess I grew up in a cynical household. Fear gives some people an excuse to not do the important things in theirs lives, like, I dont know, living their lives? Anyway, theres my rant |

| That's true! Stupid fear. I just gave up doing everything everyone wanted me to do and I dumped everything in my life in one swoop that was making me unhappy. Thus a trucking demonologist! Best decision I made so far. Hehehe don't really know how that applies to the original topic ::looks sheepish:: |

I know what you mean though. Thats pretty much just what I have done. I have finally grasped the concept of doing things for the sake of making myself happy instead of others.
There is nothing wrong with having fear. Fears create a sort of balance. What really shows character though, is how you deal with those fears. Face them, or cowar away? Its ok for anyone to be scared of the world we live in. It can, at times, be a scary place. But to completely let it rule your life is ridiculous. Some people just need to get a life, and know that the world is NOT entirely bad. In fact, I am willing to bet, there are more good people in the world than there are bad. But thats just me. |

| We had a similar incident here in Salt Lake a few summer ago. Dead birds began falling from the sky. My cat kept dragging them onto our porch. After a few days, we learned that a farmer had been laying out poison for them b/c he was tired of all the 'pests'. |

| That is horrible. I can't even imagine seeing a ton of dead birds falling from the sky, but on a similar note, I was leaving Pier 1 this afternoon and a dead bird was laying in front of a pet shop. I thought it was ironic. |

Well living here in Salt Lake....we have the lovely LAKE Odor to deal with when the stench blows into the valley and just stays here.
When I first moved here I thought something was wrong and all my co-workers just laughed and told me it was lake effect odor.
Sucks about the birds!!!! Karma will get him once the universe decides he is a pest! |

| There are days when the wind and Lake is just right the smell reminds me of California. Smells like the sea at times. Then it just smells disgusting the rest of the time. |
