You know how they say cats will steal babies' breath while they sleep? Our cat displayed this behavior once. But I've come to believe it's because if you drink milk or eat something tasty, your cat wants to smell it on your breath and maybe get you to share a little.

Why do cats like sitting on people so much? Confused Maybe it's like a pride of lions, looking for the tallest (or warmest) place around, the easier to lord over everything and everyone else.

I am reading this while my cat is sleeping on my chest!

Recently, I have been asleep and I can't move my legs. There is nothing there, and after I sit up and struggle for a minute, I become free. I don't know how to explain it, but I know there is a spirit here in my apartment, but I don't know why she sits on me.

Honestly that makes me kinda upset lol. Even now at 23 I get tremendous night terrors (voices, feelings of being watched, being touched) so to prevent them I have to have my tv on all the time. Most usually occurs in the paralysis state or even if I fall asleep too fast and my mind is still awake. But what disturbs me more is that for two weeks when I was younger I would feel these claws deep in my chest and I couldn't breath. I would wake up and "see" a woman (I refer to her as an old hag spirit) on my chest and laughing at me. There were times I would wake up and see my cats on my chest but without the same fear or effect. Night terrors suck. It also disturbs my sleep partner a lot. Sometimes I scream or whimper...say odd things in my sleep and it scared the crap out of him many times (but he's a big scary demonologist so I don't see why it freaks him out lol). As a sensitive person I think I will never outgrow it! But I don't hate it and don't really wish it would go away. It comes with the territory and the attacks are few and far in between now (2 a month at most unless I do a lot of investigations or bring home something nasty like I did last month...you can ask PapaCrock to explain that one I don't really like to talk of certain things). I'm an oddball lol what can I say.
