We have created a new group loosely called the Utah Paranormal Researchers Team. The key word here is TEAM. We have a couple of people who coordinate investigations but there is no LEAD anything; we are all team members and have common interests and goals. All are welcome to any planned investigation. All paranormal activity is under this umbrella. We have people who specialize in certain areas willing to help us learn and investigate.
We are just getting started so keep an eye on the board for planned investigations. If you're serious you can join us. No secret handshakes or applications to fill out. Just show up. If you want to come along please post whatever equipment you may have to bring to help with the investigation.

| Just be careful there are some really nutty folk out there. Present company excluded. But I have met some folk who are god's gift and others who think they are god, so I like the openness, but you will need some management. |

YES! I take that as a volunteer offer! Cromag, will you help us? We meant for this group to be all of us and just have a bit of managing to keep things coordinated. We gladly accept any help and time you can offer as well as Test Badger!

| I will help where I can. I just wanted to warn you that some big personalities and big personality disorders can be drawn towards this kind of stuff. Rich when he is back in Feb is more of the expert on the ghost stuff. I will help where I can though. |

This team is just to get people involved in investigating all paranormal activity. Some like ghost investigations, some prefer UFO or Bigfoot investigations. This is just a way to pull us all together and post what is happening so others can join in. I'm interested in all of it, so, I'll be involved in several activities. It just gives everyone a chance to get out there with others of like mind and do something.
If anyone wants to plan a trip to investigate, just post it here and we will see who all wants to go and coordinate the details. That's it...no big deal.
Cromag, thanks for help...we'll all need to be guided a bit. I passed this idea along to Rich while he was here for the holiday and he liked it and agreed to help as well.
Frog, we have digital and film cameras and recorders and a videocam. That's a beginning. We want to document our ventures but we're not out to prove anything or go Hollywood.
Again, it's just a way to get us off our behinds and get out and experience what we know is out there.
So, if anyone has seen anything paranormal or has heard of a place to see UFO's, Bigfoot, ghosts, etc. just post it here so we can continue to find hotspots to investigate.

Hey, I went to a place in fruitland that rumor had it to be haunted. We were recording and later we heard a strange tapping noise. I think it would be a good place for you to look in to.
The ranch is not to far away. Could do a two for one. I love it when that happens! |

I do agree with you 100% on this one. I am very careful not to talk about the gift that I have because of the attention that is drawn to me from it.
I think the big personalites are drawn to Ghost Hunting because they can thrive in the intense environment that GH's research.
I have tried to get in with other groups and they would tell me that an investigation was closed. Then I would read on their boards, about them meeting people from the boards, at the so called closed investigation.
I think if someone has a desire to research the paranormal and isn't into it for fame or for an ego boost ...that is the kind of people we want to chill with. I agree that we need some sort of management of the team....if we opened this up to everyone everytime we wouldn't be able to gather any data because there would be too many of us there!
Just my two cents.

I am so excited about this team. I have been trying for a long time to get in on some investigations. It seems as though with most groups if you are not "in the in" you dont really get anywhere.
Anything this group needs I will try to help to the best of my ability. I look forward to getting to know y'all and doing some good investigating.

I am so glad this group is up and going! Hopefully once the weather gets better we'll be hunting fools!!
We can come check out my apartment. The little girl was very active last night and this morning while I was getting ready for work.

My sister will actually be moving around the Orem area in the end of the month, so wherever y'all are in SLC that will be on my way home  . Are there any meetings or what not in the near future so I can meet you all? |
