I have a pretty strong bias against these. Don't know why. I can remeber playing with them in high school. Manipulating them so that it told girls they liked me! But still I think they are creepy!

| My subconscious must be asleep (heh heh), or the spirits find me boring, 'cause nothing interesting ever happened when my friends and I played around with one. Maybe none of us was devious enough to try to fool the others. It was the classic Parker Brothers version. |

One night a group of friends and I were playing around with one while a tape recorder was next to us. It moved around and spelled JOE which is the name of the ghost living in the house.
The creepy thing is when we listened back to the tape, we heard a man whisper JOE right after I asked the name of the ghost. It was the first EVP I had heard and it wasn't on the internet!! I loved it |

I won't use a quija board anymore after having a few 'bad' experiences when I was younger. On one occasion I was led to believe I was talking with a deceased relative, and it turned ugly.
I'm sure that many people feel they're harmless, but I just choose to stay away  |
