If you get a chance, watch the Science channel's Parallel Universe. On DISH it is channel 193.

It goes over the String Theory and M Theory of parallel universes. We are, in theory, only one trillioneth of a millimeter from many parallel universes. Three physicists theorize that the Big Bang was the result of parallel membranes colliding.

It's very interesting.
