Found myself in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd stop by and see if anyone was home. Anybody still out there? 
And the followup question is: has anybody heard about the flying people?
And the followup-followup question is: anybody ready yet for the collapse of the world economy?
And the followup-followup-followup question is: how y'all doin? It's been too long.
If anyone replies to this, I'll consider it a proper "meeting-and-get-together" post.

Answer #1 - Nope haven't seen any flying people.
Answer #2 - I have seen this coming and I fear this is what the Mayan have predicted. They do not predict the END of the world, just a new way for us to see the world around us. I think we will have an economic collapse followed by sun spots that will make machines and electronics useless. We will all need to start over again and it will be TOTAL choas. Ok let's hope I am wrong!

Well hiya, Lyddia, glad to see there IS life out there! Sounds like you've been mucho busy. Congrats on the job!
I, too, have not visited a board for a very long time now. This is the first time I've been over here in months. My job and school are keeping me very busy.
What are you studying? What sort of work are you doing?
I think a lot of people are thinking about the Mayan calendar, sun spots, etc. right now. Every time I turn on the radio, it's bad news for Wall Street... and not just for our economy, for every economy tied to ours. (Which explains, I guess, why some others are now severing ties.)
Hope we hear from a few of the others at some point, too. It was fun hearing stories from y'all. Maybe Cromag will get on here and tell everyone about the flying people.
