Wasatch Paranormal Files is tentatively scheduling a trip to Dry Fork Canyon and the Ranch on 5/11, 5/12, & 5/13 if weather permits. That will be a Friday night, Saturday, and come back on Sunday. We would like to leave around 4:00 pm and caravan to Dry Fork Canyon first and setup a camp. On Saturday we will explore Dry Fork Canyon and then head over to the Ranch. It is undecided yet if we will pay to get on Bottle Hollow Reservoir or just go to the place south of the ranch and camp. If anyone wants to carpool with someone please make your arrangements. I will need a head count by 5/5. PM me if you are going.
You will need your own camping supplies and food. We will pool cooking equipment so let me know what you have. Let's get started coordinating this trip so we're all informed and know who is bringing what.
Thanks for Playing!

| I REALLY want to go. However, that is the weekend of my sisters wedding. GOOD news is her wedding is on Friday so I could easily meet up with you on Saturday. Bad news is that I have family in town for the wedding and am not sure when they are leaving. Its going to be really up in the air for me. But its looking like I probably wont be able to go. Ill let you know before the cut off date |

If anyone that wants to go cant make it that weekend please PM me and we can change the date to the next weekend. We're just trying to get this trip organized right now. We want as few vehicles involved as possible because we don't want to alert everyone in the area by coming in as a parade.
Also, up front info, absolutely no weapons or alcohol on this trip. We are not going to party, we are going to investigate. We don't want to draw any attention to ourselves.
I'm not sure if we can camp on the Bottle Hollow side. Anyone know for sure about this? I'm having trouble getting information. |

| I checked with the Ute Indian Reservation and there is only day use of Bottle Hollow. They are upgrading it right now to allow camping next year but not this year. I'll keep looking. |

There's a little place right on highway 40 next to the Ute gas station
I don't remember the name of it, there use to be camping there for trailers or RV's. Other than that you would have to drive a ways.
If you want to get serious there are a few places close to the ranch you could stay all night but would have to go sleep some where else. |

|

| Well, it looks like I picked Mother's Day weekend without looking at a calendar so from consensus, we need to change the weekend to visit the Ranch. I am open to any suggestion. What about the next weekend after the 12th? That would put us in between Mother's Day and Memorial Day weekend. Let me know what you think. |

| Hi Folks, The way things fell into place for me is that I'll be in Utah April 18-25 for a hiking trip. Got a great deal on a Delta ticket with some frequent flying miles. I do plan to spend a few days around Vernal and the Ranch, but most of the trip will be down south around Moab. Word is that Vernal is swamped with people, motel rooms are few and far between. This has to do with oil and companies that want to drill for it. The area seems to have a lot of oil and people want it. |

| Yea, the place has gone crazy in the last year. If you do go to the ranch let me know and my daughter might have time to show you around. The ranch can be a little tricky to find. Have a great trip and hope you get a chance to go out to the basin. |
