With the next meeting being about SERPO I did some research. I thought having a background would be good. Also there is another thread "SERPO FAT LIE" it is also interesting.
Serpo!! Serpo has now reached the level of Titor and Burisch and looks as though it just might leave both in its dust. Both Titor and Burisch have cult like followings and the discussions live on even today, with numerous forums and discussion groups. Radio and online shows still discuss both of these individuals on a regular basis. However Serpo is now “the” topic. The website for the story of Serpo is http://serpo.org/ , however, this is just the base for an amazing amount of online investigation as well as numerous radio and pod cast shows.
Perhaps the best example of this is at abovetopsecret.com, the Serpo thread has over 250 pages with over 5000 posts and one can read and witness an amazing event there. Bill Ryan, who is the person responsible for the serpo.org website used the ATS forum to communicate on the Serpo subject.

ATS closed the main thread and basically deemed Serpo a hoax, and with some very valid points, however, Serpo lives on, the discussion moved to this forum:

Bill Ryan also moved to this forum and as of now, is non responsive.
Then this appeared online (see links below) this image of a supposed page from the actual logs of the event, however, if you open the image in notepad, you will see secret embedded text.

So many forums and so much information and so many angles and people crying fact and people crying dis information, but what a story! Is it viral marketing? Is it the first step in disclosure? Why are there so many DoD IP hits to the forums who have been discussing this topic? Where does the Church of Scientology fit in? or does it?
Does the recent interview and articles by Linda Howe verify or confuse the subject even more?

And now UFO Mag: http://www.ufomag.com/ has come out with interviews on the Serpo story, the interviews are with Richard Doty, former disinfo specialist for the U.S government and Victor Martinez, whose UFO email group was where the entire Serpo saga started, and now Bill Ryan has been interviewed, Bill Ryan is the person who manages the Serpo.org website and has been the front man for much of the story.

There are some good aspects to this story and some bad, but it certainly is a lesson into why the UFO and alien research world is in disarray. But this is also a way to see some very smart people look into every possible aspect of a story, and for others to learn how to investigate and seek the truth.
The Serpo story will live on for many years, unless someone steps up and states they hoaxed the whole thing, but even then, there will be those who will say that person is not telling the truth.
Planet Serpo and its inhabitants , the Ebens, whether they know it or not, are now part of the culture many of us live in, or are we now part of theirs?
And what have I learned while following the Serpo story?, one thing was, Clark Kent, A.K.A, Superman, well, his fathers name was “Eben Kent”. It is just amazing the things one can learn while seeking information on occupants of other planets. |

Wow, Frogman! That's a great post. I think I'll have to wait till the weekend to peruse it all. Thanks for the info and the links...very interesting indeed!
