HI all, just got a message from another board from George Knapp on recent activity at the Ranch:

A couple of things to mention:

Art Bell invited Colm Kelleher and yours truly to appear on his Coast to Coast show two Sunday's ago to talk about Skinwalker matters. Apparently C2C listeners voted on their favorite programs of 2006 and chose our Jan 2006 appearance as the Best Episode of the Year, which was cool, so that might have played a part in the decision to have us back on. Also, Art had received info that there's been a lot of activity in the Uintah Basin of late, so he wanted to hear what we had to say about it.

This is tricky for us, as members of this group know. We don't want to be accused of withholding information as part of a sinister coverup--an allegation that has been made many times before. At the same time, we do not want to do anything that encourages further trespassing at the ranch, which is already quite a problem. As mentioned in previous posts, the ranch has been inundated with folks who like to drink beer, party down, and then walk around on the property in the middle of the night, messing with the heads of the people who live there full time. We don't want to make the situation worse because of how it might affect our friendship with the owner of the property. I hope you can all read between the lines here. If the situation on the ranch gets out of hand, it could easily lead to changes that would not be good for anyone who wants to know what's going on.

As mentioned on the C2C show, there has been a flurry of activity in the area, but hardly any of this has occurred on the ranch itself. There was a fairly dramatic UFO sighting several weeks ago, witnessed by several independent persons from different vantage points. The craft, a large classic disc, was seen over a road that is a few miles from the ranch. I've made attempts to speak to some of the witnesses but haven't had any success...yet. I've also read on other internet sites about odd experiences reported in other parts of the basin. Keep in mind that the entire area has a long history of weird phenomena, and there are other hotspots besides the ranch. As for the property itself, there have been a few unusual lights and orbs, but these have been infrequent and sporadic over the past year, nothing even remotely close to the activity seen in the past, and there have been no creatures or mutilations or other dramatic events. Zero. If there had been, I would know about it and would make a beeline for the basin to find out more.

I've been promised a dub of a UFO video, shot by someone who knew "the rancher" pretty well. Haven't seen it yet but have high hopes. With all of the sightings that have occurred in the basin over many years, it is amazing--and frustrating--that there isn't more photographic evidence. The NIDS scientists ran into their own problems in this regard, as you all know. The larger community in the basin simply doesn't look at this topic the same way that "paranormal types" like us do. They are ranchers and farmers and rural folks who do not carry video cameras around with them in their everyday lives, nor are they particularly interested in documenting UFOs and such. I had hopes that this might change once the book came out. If it has changed, I haven't seen the evidence.

Wish I had more to tell you.
